Star: Represents the star that led the Magi to where the Christ Child was . Angel: For the angels that announced His birth to the shepherds . Bulbs: The globes seemingly have no beginning or end, reminding us that as a part of the Trinity, Jesus is eternal , Lights: As they shine they remind us that Jesus came to be a light to the world. Red: Represents the blood that Jesus shed for our Salvation. Green: The color of life. He came to give eternal life. White: The color of purity. Jesus was our pure and spotless sacrificial lamb. Silver/Gold: The colors of riches. Think of the gold from the Magi. Jesus left the riches of heaven, to be born as a baby to a poor Jewish couple. Blue: The blue of the skies reminds us he came from heaven to be a part of our world and share our pain.
